Kit Newman
Professional Videographer/Photographer with a Background in Philosophy and English Language
About Me
My career can be defined by three main interests; Art, philosophy, and sharing my passions with others. Engaging with these interests to refine my skills and find value in my work drives me. The relationship between art and philosophy is a particular fascination. I thoroughly enjoy investigating aesthetic philosophy – decoding all the elements behind a piece of art and how it communicates its message to the viewer.
In the process of working towards this goal of understanding media, I enjoy practicing art and making whatever I can. From comedy videos to building guitars, I try to expand my creative abilities whenever possible. In addition to this, my academic career focusing around Philosophy and English has provided me a background in aesthetics, discourse analysis, and more.
My ultimate goal is to achieve a level of success within the art or philosophy industry, and attempt to leave a mark I can be proud of in the future, whether this is through a large project or through guiding the next generation of creators through teaching.
